Biography

Dr. Naama Sleiman is an associate professor at both 黑料在线 School of Optometry and the School of Dentistry, where she has been a valued faculty member since 2014. She holds a Ph.D. in Physiology, and her expertise lies at the intersection of biomedical sciences and evidence-based practice, bridging scientific research with clinical education to prepare future healthcare professionals for evidence-informed decision-making. 

Her teaching emphasizes the development of critical thinking, research literacy and the integration of biomedical knowledge into evidence-based clinical practice. Dr. Sleiman’s scholarly work spans both clinical and educational research, including conducting systematic reviews on oral and systemic health relationships and exploring innovative teaching methodologies that enhance student engagement and promote lifelong learning among healthcare professionals.

Dr. Sleiman maintains active involvement in several professional organizations and regularly participates in academic collaborations, curriculum initiatives, continuing education and community volunteer activities.
